A Preschool and Kindergarten Resource
This education kit provides both experienced and beginner educators the tools necessary to introduce young birders to the wonderful world of birds! Equipped with an easy-to-follow script, the kit comes with many resources to lead an hour-long, active presentation on birds that includes songs, stories, scavenger hunts, and discussions. There are many hands-on opportunities that include real bird skins and nests that children can touch and see up close.
In addition to the resources provided for the scripted lesson the kit also comes with other games and activities, including:
* Tweety tag - A fun, active game that helps young birders with their species identification skills.
* Nest Investigation - Where do birds build their nests? What materials do they use? How do they do it? Those are some of the questions that are discussed before the children get to attempt to make their own nest out of found materials.
*Bird Rainbow - An activity that gets children thinking about the many different colors that are found in birds' plumage all around the world.

Pricing: $35 per week, $10 each additional week (3 week maximum)
